BAD CHOICES!

So we all do somewhere, sometime in our lives make bad choices. Even if we were probably warned about , we would just go with our instinct and hope that the choice we made was simply right. Usually the choices that you regret making can lead to consequences that could have a big impact in your life in a positive or negative way. The most common bad choices we make is probably when  we go shopping.  Its is always safe to consult an expert or people who you can rely on giving advises to guide you in making up your mind to have the right choice.  Lately  I was in such a dilemma when I was gonna purchase a TV for myself. I wanted a reasonably priced  good TV. Well, i started by doing a little research for myself on PLASMA, LCD and LED. So with LED being the top range in the market, I did a study on the pricing factor. Now I had almost made up my mind on taking up a PLASMA, until I realized it didn't want a glass/glossy finish. As I hate to have reflection on the screen. I know how annoying it can get since I have the same glossy/glass on my laptop. So I wanted to get in a big screen, since I do spend most of my spare time watching the telly, i decided to get myself a bigger screen to enhance my viewing experience. So after gooing around in the market, looking for some good offers, i ultimately bought a reasonably - cheapest 46 inch LCD. Now don't get me wrong, there were other Chinese brands that were cheaper by 10-12 KD but by far I guess I did make a good choice. two months since and I checked there isn't any 46 inch LCD TV cheaper than mine. So, there you go - I was happy I made a good choice.  No reflection, big ass screen, good sound, great gaming experience....I'm a happy man! :)

I was just going through my social network site when I found a pic of a wedding line up - the  groomsmen. They all had the suck-iest outfit ever. It was black suits, but along with it were funky bright colored vest coat and matching tie. Each grooms men had a different color. and I must say who ever taught that this particular color coded theme would be cool......it so wasn't! I mean c'mon, its common to make a statement and be different at your wedding. I know that you usually get inputs from many people that care about your wedding more than you even could. And then again, they say the bride gets to make the major decisions - color theme, menu, etc. But I feel the Groom has to give in his opinion as well.  After all, a wedding is not only about the bride.

I don't know about anyone else, but damn for my wedding, I'm gonna make sure i get a say in most of the decisions. Just cant leave it entirely on my better half....can I ?
Well, one thing is for sure....i'm not gonna have an Olympic colored vest coats for my groomsmen. definitely something subtle color to set in with the skin tone. I wouldn't wanna take the risk in going out flashy! no sir, that ain't my cup of tea! :)

 Stan - out! :)
